YOUNG BRUM- TV SERIES

Young Brum was an TV show with four episodes each focusing on a different social problem with each one being set in a different year.

CALL SHEET/BLOCKING

This was a completely original series with the script written by the acting pathway; my role was camera operator for all 4 episodes and I worked with a wide variety of camera angles including the wide, closeups and tracking angles.

We wanted to focus on different issues that we still face nowadays like racism and substance abuse but we felt like having it all in one time period would be boring, so that's why we decided to do different eras. This way we could change the set and costumes but also play around with different camera aspects to make it look like shows from said era.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST/ ALICE IN WONDERLAND- LIVE CAPTURE

Both of these projects briefs included creating a high-quality Multicam capture of the productions held in the Old Rep theatre.

BATB CALL SHEET

It was our job to arrange both the get-in/get-out and any preproduction, like seat kills, needed for the production. During both of these productions, I learnt a lot of practical skills but I also helped work on my communication skills.

I managed to get the role of camera operator for BATB and to prepare for my role we watched the scratch tapes of the production. A scratch tape is just a simple recording of the production and this helps us learn all the cues and where we need to point our cameras. This also helped the director knows the cues so he would be able to communicate to us through the gallery.

ARTS AND HERITAGE- ADVERTISEMENT

The Arts and Heritage project was a brief given to us by Birmingham city council to showcase all the different arts and history that Birmingham has to offer.

CALL SHEET

In our group, we decided that we wanted to showcase different walks of life as we felt that's something we all valued so we decided to film in places that felt special to us in some behalf, some locations we filmed in included Digbeth and the library

For this production, I was the producer which meant I was in charge of making sure that everyone was on task, all paperwork and ensuring that we were meeting our deadlines.
